Eco-Expo
The Wild Amelia Nature Festival’s Eco-Expo was held on Amelia Island’s Main Beach Park on Saturday, May 18, 2024. The Amelia Island Whale Ambassadors were excited to participate in the event with an exhibit. Many other environmental groups were present at the event. We were honored to have the opportunity to share the story about the North Atlantic right whale with the community!
We love participating in this event and sharing the news about the North Atlantic right whale! Food, music, and spending the day with other nature lovers are just a few of the reasons we love this event! A passport for kids to fill in, with questions to learn at different booths, was a great way to get kids excited to learn about nature while having a great time at this family friendly festival!
Our exhibit featured information about the North Atlantic right whale and merchandise featuring the artwork of one of our treasured volunteers, Deb Strobel!
